Every year, plastic in the ocean kills
Every year, over a million creatures die from the plastic that's released into the ocean.
Every day, Americans use 500 million drinking straws, which are discarded and end up in the bodies of sea turtles, seabirds, and fish alike, causing widespread suffering and death in marine ecosystems.
If we continue to use our oceans as humanity's trashbin, there will be more plastic than marine life in the sea by 2050.
Our purpose is to protect life under the waves, and save the Earth's beauty for generations to come.
Since April 29, 2019, this is how many straws have been discarded... in thousands.
